Daniel recently joined the health center as our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program Coordinator. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Plymouth State University in 2006. Mr. Bell worked for a period in the corporate world but found a true calling in the helping professions. He then enrolled at Southern Maine Community College where he became a licensed alcohol and drug counselor. To be more effective at helping a variety of individuals Daniel enrolled at the University of New England where he obtained a Master’s in Social Work in December of 2016. Daniel has worked in many different capacities in the mental health field including case management, residential, and outpatient treatment. Mr. Bell is a passionate advocate for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, has written grants, and has offered testimony at the state level. Mr. Bell is honored to be of service to the individuals at SVHC.
In his spare time Daniel enjoys exercising, both cardio and strength training, playing golf, fishing, and going to the beach.
