Andrea Stemm
Andrea is a Physician Assistant who joined SVHC in August 2023. She was born and raised in Maine and is thrilled to be practicing close to home!
She is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington (’19) with a bachelor’s degree in biology and minor in interdisciplinary health and medicine. Andrea enjoyed playing collegiate field hockey during her time at UMF.
She attended the University of New England (’23) to obtain a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. Andrea has a strong passion for healthcare for underserved populations in both urban and rural settings. While in school at UNE, she had clinical rotations in Fort Kent, Madawaska, Millinocket, Bangor, Bar Harbor and Caribou, Maine.
Andrea’s areas of clinical interest include disease prevention, management of chronic conditions, mental health, and women’s health. She enjoys building relationships with patients and working together to achieve and maintain optimal health and wellness.
