1. Does Sacopee Valley Health Center have a patient portal?
Yes! Patients can find a link to register for the portal on our website at www.svhc.org. Click on the Patient Portal link at the top of the page. There is a green button to register/sign in on this page. The internet browser may open a new tab/window upon clicking this button.
2. Is there an app for my phone?
Yes, there is. Look for this icon when searching the app store.
3. How long does it take to register on the patient portal?
It takes most people approximately 5-10 minutes to register for the patient portal. Please call SVHC at (207) 625-8126 if you need assistance getting this set up.
4. What do I do if it says I need a PIN?
When registering for the patient portal account it will ask for a PIN. Start by checking the internet browser settings to assure the pop-up blockers are turned off. The PIN pop-up will not appear if they are on. If the settings have been adjusted and it still says that a PIN is needed please call us at (207) 625-8126. We will be able to send another PIN number. Please note that the new PIN number will expire within 24 hours. Patients can register for their patient portal account without a PIN. If doing so, the information that is able to be viewed will be limited until the account is verified by a member of the SVHC staff. This can take up to two business days for a patients account to be verified.
5. How do I check if my pop-up blockers are on/off?
In the internet browser there is a button in the upper-right of the browser, usually three dots or three lines. Click this and go down to settings. On the left-hand side find the section of the browser settings that addresses privacy, security, or site permissions. Look for an option called pop-up or pop-up windows to check if the pop-up blockers are turned off. Please note that if pop-up blockers are on certain functions within the portal such as, scheduling an appointment, sending a message, or requesting a prescription refill may not be able to be viewed.
6. What kind of things can I view on my portal?
Patients can view their lab results, a summary of their immunizations, allergies, medications, vitals, recent visits, upcoming appointments as well as most patient plan/visit summary documents.
7. Can I see results from my specialist in my portal?
Only if the specialist was seen at Sacopee Valley Health Center. If the specialist was seen outside of Sacopee Valley Health Center please check with the specialist’s office on the best way to access those results.
8. Is Sacopee Valley Health Center’s portal the same as My Chart with Maine Medical Partners?
No. Sacopee Valley Health Center uses a patient portal supported by Intelichart and is not affiliated with Maine Health or Maine Medical Partners (MMP). Sacopee Valley Health Center’s portal will only show information regarding the care a patients has received at Sacopee Valley Health Center.
9. How do I get access to my child’s portal?
For dependents/children under the age of 18 a parent or guardian can make themselves a proxy for that dependent/child. A PIN will need to be requested to gain access to the child/dependent’s chart. Please contact our office at (207) 625-8126 to request this PIN. Once the child/dependent’s PIN has been sent via email or text go into your portal settings and select Add child/dependent. The PIN number and Child/Dependents Birthday will be requested to complete the registration.
10. Can I send a message to my provider through the portal?
Yes, Sacopee Valley Health Center patients do have the ability to send a message to the Sacopee Valley Health Center staff through the patient portal. Please allow up to 72 hours for that message to be received and reviewed. Messages will be forwarded to the appropriate team and someone will reply via the portal and/or a telephone call. It is important to note that there is not someone monitoring messages that come through the portal 24/7 so if the request is urgent we recommend calling our office at 207-625-8126. If it is an emergency, please call 911.
